in the world:
- http://www.unep.org – United Nations Environmental Program is one of the biggest initiatives when it comes to saving the environment and creating awareness. In this official website you would find all the details you need about the UNEPs that focus on climate change, disasters and conflicts, ecosystems management, environmental governance, harmful substances and resource efficiency to name a few.
- http://wwf.panda.org – WWF’s sole objective is to stop the dreadful destruction of our planet and its environment. Some of their biggest environmental programs are 2050 Biodiversity Goal and 2050 Footprint Goal. Read more about them in the link above.
- http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en – Greenpeace is an autonomous global campaigning concern which focuses on creating awareness to help conserve and protect the planet and also to promote peace. This link would give you information about Greenpeace’s endeavours towards addressing climate change issues, defending the oceans,protecting ancient flora and fauna, make an effort towards disarmament and peace etc.

One of their famous drives is The Rapid Assessment Program, which is an attempt to discover, assess and record as many species as possible before they get extinct.
