What is an Environmental Program?
There is no concrete definition of an environmental program. In general terms, an environmental program can refer to managing an organization’s environmental components in a detailed, systematic and strategic manner. It consists of organisational structure, resources and planning needed for developing, maintaining and implementing policies to protect and preserve the environment. Environmental programs also consist of Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
